Check-out Computer Hates Bowie :(

I went to Walmart today to get the Best of Bowie CD that I've been wanting and i find it [oddly enough it was NOT in the David Bowie section, it was the last copy hidden behind Velvet Revolver] and I go to the self check out and i ring it up and an "approval needed" message popped up. so the lady came over and punched in the code and left. I hit "Finish and Pay" and it came up with a NEW approval needed message. and in waiting for help a message saying that there was a second object in bag area. finally after 20 minuets i get help. I pull out my money and the computer wouldn't take it! It seems like the computer just didn't want me to have my David Bowie CD! and so the lady came over again and said "David Bowie is great! let her pay for it!" and she hit the computer and punched in a code and then after a bit longer of it spitting my money out at me, it took it. THEN my change got stuck! yeah... that was a bit odd lol. but i have my Bowie and am listening to it now lol

He/She Butcherd My Photo!

I'm a Photography major, it's the career I'm hoping to start in soon and eventually get my own studio. and now i have had my first photography related problem and it really angered me.

So, In my Photography class i spent hours perfecting this photograph (left) i took of my sister [i added the copyright water mark for this blog] and My Professor sent it to the Digital Design class to make it into an add for Revlon... This is how it came out as(Right)! GRR! It makes me so mad that who ever got my image butchered it like this! I mean yes i like a few things that they did... but most of it is crap! it looks so fake!

I don't even know what to say... i'm supposed to give my opinion and suggestion... how can i say "It's totally butchered! Go start all over again!" nicely? I just don't know.

A Redneck Easter...

So, today was easter, and we had quite a twist! We were butchering hogs... and in the middle of that my aunt came in, all smiles anouncing "Great news! just down the road there's a deer! it was just hit! it was twitching still when i saw it!" and so we took the truck and picked up the roadkill and after we finished the Hogs, we did the deer! From the grill to the grill! It'll be so tasty! We havnt gotten a deer in a few years! Best easter ever!

Chest Pains

So, this morning I woke up with a chest pain. It hurt like a knife when i exhaled. it felt like my ribs were crushing my lung or heart. [it was only on the left side of my body] and it only got worse all day. so i went to the doctors and it turns out that stress caused my chest wall to inflame. and it'll take a week to go away if i stay on IB Profin 3 a day for a week. it stinks.

Spring

So, it's a full week after my spring break and it's finally looking like spring. It was ridicules having it snow on my spring break! I mean, sure, it's no big deal to everyone who was able to go down south for the week, but I wasn't able to and I was stuck up in the snow. and now that it's nearing my younger sister's and brother's spring break, it's warm, the snow is just about gone, and things are starting to look green. I just find this unfair that I have to stress out over classes and upcoming exams wile Middle schoolers and High schoolers are about to be released from stress for a week in such nice weather. *sigh* well, I guess I should stop procrastinating and get back to work on Homework. i have a 3-5 page paper to write on how a fur covered cup represents being a lesbian. [I hate Art History]
